Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Teaching Fellow, Quantum Computing and Quantum Engineering within School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the ADVANCE Centre for Professional Education seek to appoint a full-time Teaching Fellow in Quantum Computing and Quantum Engineering to develop and deliver relevant modules in 2022.

The ADVANCE Centre for Professional Education brings together academic experts and industry leaders from across the high-tech sector with the common goal of delivering a portfolio of modules and courses addressing Irish industry's future skills needs in the digital transformation arena. The School and the Centre offers a range of accredited and future ready qualifications in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), ranging from modular study to certificate, diploma, full and part time degrees and master's qualifications.

The successful candidate will contribute to a range of core modules, including introductory and advance quantum computing and quantum electronics, and will play a key role in teaching and advising students, both at the ME level and professional diploma. Candidates must have relevant teaching experience, and a degree in a relevant subject area.

Fixed Salary: €39,000 per annum
