Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research engineer, within UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.

The UCD School of Mechanical & Materials Engineering is the largest of its type in Ireland and a world player in both research and education offering the widest range of both research-based and taught postgraduate programmes. UCD group of Polymer Micro/Nano Manufacturing technology is focusing on scale up production of plastic microfluidic devices, micro/nano structured mould tool fabrication, molecular diagnostic and synthesis of nanoparticles for nanomedicine, and functional surfaces.

The UCD group of Polymer Micro/Nano Manufacturing technology bring together 7 PhDs and 1 postdoc as a team to work on micro/nano manufacturing, bio-instruments and advanced applications.

Fixed salary: €38,632 per annum
