Job Description

The successful candidate will work with A/P Jason Yeo Boon Siang on a project to develop electrocatalytic systems for converting carbon dioxide to alcohols.

The successful candidate will carry out basic fundamental research to design and synthesize new electrocatalysts for CO2 reduction to alcohols, and characterize and evaluate them for activity, selectivity, and stability.

The research assistant can be concurrently enrolled in the graduate program (PhD) in the National University of Singapore.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications / Discipline: A four year B.Sc degree in Chemistry or related disciplines, with at least a 2nd Upper honours classification.
  • Skills: Experience in electrocatalysis, theory, electrochemistry, synthetic skills, and/or surface/solid state characterization techniques. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Excellent interpersonal skills.
