Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

With the conventional routing approaches in networks, the routing and forwarding decisions of network traffic change slowly. On the other hand, dynamic and adaptive approaches are effective to achieve improved performance in terms of metrics such as latency and throughput. In this project, we aim at developing game-theoretic and probabilistic approaches for making dynamic and adaptive forwarding decisions resilient to congestion and failures. The scope of the work for the Research Fellow position requires development of techniques and algorithms, analysis, and performance study.

Qualifications

PhD in in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering and other related disciplines
The research Fellow should have knowledge/interest/experience in one or more of the following areas.

  • Network Routing
  • Game Theory
  • Probability Theory
  • Optimization Theory
  • Open to fixed term contract
