The Role

  • Full Time (35 hours/week), Fixed Term (up to October 2022)
  • Level 7 - $89,515 to $97,809 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst, Orange or Wagga Wagga
  • Flexible work arrangements considered

The Finance Partner is part of the Business Services Team and is responsible for the provision of financial analysis and advice, through financial management reporting, to ensure business units have the required management information and tools to make well-informed business decisions.

The position is responsible for supporting business activities by providing expertise and advice to University Faculties and Divisions, through financial management reporting, to ensure that business units are compliant with legislative requirements and University policies related to financial governance.

To be successful you will have:

  • strong commitment to developing and maintaining relationships and ability to communicate financial concepts to a range of stakeholders
  • an understanding of the medium to large scale organisational budget management.
  • well developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • demonstrated proficiency in excel and experience utilising multiple financial management and compliance systems
