About the role

The School of Health offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, public health, work health and safety, and research. Research, industry collaboration and consultancy form a major aspect of the School’s activities, with numerous partnerships established with local, state, national and international organisations.

As an integral member of our team you will contribute to the development and delivery of courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, undertake teaching and assessment of students and undertake relevant research activities.

About you

Working under the broad direction of the Discipline Leader you will work as part of the School’s team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the School within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission. You will be a creative thinker and avid problem-solver, who possesses initiative, innovation and a can-do attitude.

You will:

  • have a relevant doctoral qualification with current registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia;
  • commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching;
  • previous experience in academic administration;
  • international research expertise; and
  • ability to work collegially.
