About Role/ You

The Education Designer role is to be employed as part of the Enhancing the Cyber Security of Australia's Universities Research Project supported by the Australian Government, Department of Education, Skills and Employment. As the Education Designer will work collaboratively and proactively as a team member with RMIT CCSRI and other partners to prepare innovative and fit-for-purpose Cyber Security learning activities and learning resources based on project requirements.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Experience and a comprehensive understanding of the role technology plays in enhancing the learning experience and outcomes
  • Knowledge of the pedagogical affordances of discipline-specific strategies for face-to-face and online learning environments
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, meet project timeframes and deliver outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to secure the cooperation and engagement of a wide range of people within a complex environment.

The RMIT University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CCSRI) is a multi-disciplinary research centre that brings researchers from across RMIT to bring a truly multidisciplinary approach to the organisational, human and technology aspects of Cyber Security.

The mission of the CCSRI is to be acknowledged as a world-class research centre in multi-disciplinary Cyber Security research and to be acknowledged by Australian and overseas industry and government as a leading source of knowledge and expertise in multi-disciplinary Cyber Security research.
