Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in first-principles computational research on the electronic and optical properties of two-dimensional materials in the group of Professor Su Ying Quek at NUS in the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials. The research entails running publicly available codes, developing in-house codes, as well as data analysis and interpretation. The candidate is also required to work well with experimentalists and fellow group members.
Qualifications
- PhD in physics, materials science or chemistry
- Excellent knowledge on first-principles methods
- Experience in code development
