Project description: 

The project will investigate the dose response effects of vitamins C and D and zinc alone and in combination on inflammation and immunity using a range of cell lines. Interactive mechanisms will be explored. The final phase of the study might include a pilot human study.

The successful candidate is likely to have the following qualifications:

A 1st or 2:1 degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, nutrition, biomedical sciences)

Funding information:  

Due to funding restrictions this position is only open to UK applicants.  

The amount of stipend and fees are at the research council rate, note that the fees at UK rate only.
