Job Description

• Dedicated to SERIS’ Tandem Flagship Project, with main focus on (not limited to) the development of highly-efficient Si bottom cells as well as interconnection layers for tandem cell and module applications
• Further development of processing and characterisation capabilities for tandem related research in SERIS
• Serve as the equipment owner for relevant processing and characterisation tools used in tandem research
• Work closely with internal colleagues as well as external collaborators in short-term and long-term research projects
• Assist with the supervision of undergraduate, internship and postgraduate students
• Assist with relevant processing and characterisation services

Requirements

• PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science, with specialization in the field of perovskite/Si tandem solar cells
• Minimum 3 years of experience in silicon and tandem solar cell fabrication and characterisations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
• Good English language skills (oral and written)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
