The Faculty of Business is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a 12 month secondment opportunity to lead the student retention related activities within the Student Retention office.

The successful candidate will liaise with academic/professional staff and central services to ensure that attendance and engagement monitoring within the faculty is carried out in a timely and effective manner.

They will ensure that systems are kept updated and that reporting of Tier 4 students is carried out accurately and in line with UKVI guidelines. This is an important part of this role as the faculty has nearly 2000 overseas students.

They will work with students and colleagues to ensure that students are given every opportunity to remain on their programme of study and achieve the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with students and/or working in a customer service environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. They will have knowledge of HE sectors retention and success challenges. They would also be an enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a busy and dynamic environment.  The candidate will need to have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding and be able to work with a diverse group of students.

The Faculty of Business is located on the Greenwich Maritime Campus, a UNESCO world heritage site.
