Roles and Responsibilities

Applications are invited for the Post of Project Assistant (PA) for the DST-SERB Funded Project in School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), (SRG/2020/000760), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

Title of the Project :“Development of Novel Bifunctional Iron Catalysts for Effective CO2 Valorisation Techniques: By Virtue of Metal-Ligand Cooperation”

Qualification : M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent in Chemistry / Materials Science/ and its related disciplines

Desirable (if any) : Candidates having strong knowledge in inorganic and organic chemistry and synthesis of organic and inorganic compounds, experience in manuscript writing will be preferred. Prior experience in organometallic chemistry, handling of air, moisture sensitive compounds relevant to the topic will also be encouraged.

Stipend :Rs. 20,000/

Sponsoring Agency :DST- SERB, Government of India.

Duration : 2 years
