Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Criminology and Psychology in the Law and Criminology Department.

The post is fixed term for 11 months.

The Department of Law and Criminology at Royal Holloway University of London is a forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active department, where we offer undergraduate programmes in Law, Criminology & Psychology and Criminology & Sociology, together with Masters programmes in Forensic Psychology, Consumption, Culture & Marketing, Policing and Criminal Justice and Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism Studies.  The Department is also home to an energetic postgraduate research student community.  

We seek an outstanding teacher to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. Applicants should possess the broad range of skills needed to teach effectively and as well as extensive experience of core criminology and psychology methods teaching which will then assist within our existing programmes. 

We have one fixed term post on offer which is for the purposes of covering maternity leave and we have a particular interest in candidates who are committed to teaching a range of undergraduate core criminology and psychology subjects (particularly Introduction to Criminology and Data Analysis for Psychologists) as well as leading our undergraduate programme in Criminology and Psychology.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.

This is a fixed term post to cover a period of maternity leave. This appointment could end earlier than expected should the substantive post-holder return to work early.
