As part of our on-going development strategy, the Faculty of Business at the University of Greenwich is seeking a Lecturer in Strategy and Leadership.

The Business Faculty is located at the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich – a UNESCO World Heritage site – and has a strong commitment to diversity and internationalism, reflected in our staff and student profiles.

The Department of Systems Management and Strategy has a wide portfolio of Undergraduate programmes in the general area of business studies, strategy and decision making, with further specialisations in entrepreneurship and operations related fields. The Department runs a specialist Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and an Executive MBA programme. The position offers opportunities for teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in the shaping of the future development of the department’s approach to its curriculum design. We are particularly looking for candidates that enjoy working with diverse cohorts of students and challenging them to fulfil their potential and are capable of teaching either or both qualitative and quantitative subjects. Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring learning materials and activities within a blended learning environment and providing excellent student care.

There are strong research teams within the department which provide research that is of significance to businesses, the society and environment, urban ecosystems, and the circular economy. A successful applicant would form part of a research group, contributing to REF submissions and overall research activities while at the same time receiving support and mentoring to enhance their skills and overall standing in the research community.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Petros Ieromonachou, Head of Department – P.Ieromonachou@greenwich.ac.uk.
