Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (3 posts) in the Department of Sociology (Ref.: 508208), to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Sociology or related disciplines with research record on social policy, migration, and Hong Kong studies; proficiency in written Chinese and English; excellence in management and statistical skills; ability to work independently and to lead a team.

The appointees will assist Professor Eric Fong in planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities on his research projects; oversee data collection, data analysis and draft reports; supervise Research Assistants; and perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
