Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 508078) (to commence from 2022 summer, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics/Applied Physics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.  The appointee will conduct research in theoretical and/or experimental photonics with Dr. Yi Yang, an incoming Assistant Professor of the Department who will start in 2022 summer.  Dr. Yang’s research ranges widely in photonics, with a particular emphasis on topological nanophotonics, free electron optics, and nanophotonics at extreme length scales (including 2D and 3D materials). A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
