Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer in the Department of Pathology and the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (Ref.: 507926), to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in cancer biology, molecular biology or other relevant disciplines. Experience in cancer research will be an advantage. Applicants should also have a strong interest in translational research, the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and the ability to contribute intellectually to research development.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
