Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics in the Department of Pathology (Ref.: 507810), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, preferably in computational biology, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, biological science, or a related discipline.  They should be familiar with UNIX environment, computer programming and R language.  They should also be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team.  Preference will be given to those with solid experience in cancer biology, genome biology, and next-generation sequencing analysis.  The appointee will work with Dr. Carmen Wong and Dr. Jack Wong on projects related to cancer genome and epigenome of liver cancer.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Carmen Wong and Dr. Jack Wong at carmencl@pathology.hku.hk and jackwong@pathology.hku.hk.
