Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics in the Department of Pathology (Ref.: 507810), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, preferably in computational biology, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, biological science, or a related discipline. They should be familiar with UNIX environment, computer programming and R language. They should also be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with solid experience in cancer biology, genome biology, and next-generation sequencing analysis. The appointee will work with Dr. Carmen Wong and Dr. Jack Wong on projects related to cancer genome and epigenome of liver cancer.
