Job Description

The Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) at Duke-NUS Medical School was formed in 2014 and provides a neutral academic platform for networking of health products regulatory stakeholders to promote capacity development, system strengthening and policy innovation in the Asia Pacific, with a focus on South-East Asia.

The selected candidate will contribute to the growth of the Centre in nurturing capabilities of the regulatory profession for the region, including National Regulatory Authorities, industry and researchers, through a comprehensive education portfolio.

  • Assist the education team to advance the education initiatives of CoRE with a focus on Asia-Pacific, by improving regulatory capabilities of the region through education, teaching, communication and Communities of Practice
  • Contribute to the design of learning materials and delivery of CoRE’s workshops
  • Keep updated on the regulatory trends and rapid advancement on the global level, and have a close understanding of the needs of the region
  • Participate in research initiatives for studying regulatory landscapes and impact of regulatory training

Job Requirement

  • Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Public Health or Social Sciences. PhD or MSc in relevant fields will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical regulation.
  • Have a strong understanding and work experience in the area of health products regulation, particularly pharmaceuticals
  • Prior experience in educational approaches and training courses at a graduate level will be desirable
  • Possess excellent writing and communication skills
  • Have a track record of publications/ presentations and in communication of scientific concepts.
  • Candidates with higher qualification and credentials may potentially be considered for Faculty Appointments.

Contract Duration: 2 years.

Remuneration: To be negotiated, depending on experience of candidate
