As one of our People Partners you will sit in the Human Resources (HR) Directorate and will develop and maintain strong professional relationships with a designated stakeholders fostering an environment where managers and staff take ownership for continuously improving individual, team and organisational performance.

Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations and Change, you will work collaboratively to support organisational change, manage complex employee relations casework and contribute to cross institutional HR-related project work.

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can help us deliver the values of the University of Greenwich: inclusive, collaborative, and impactful.
  • Is excellent at managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Is CIPD Chartered Membership or equivalent professional qualification commensurate with the level of this role
  • Has previous experience of working in HR partnering role/HR operational role in an organisation of similar size and complexity.
  • Has substantial experience of managing complex casework and excellent up to date knowledge of employment law.
  • Is an excellent communicator with well-developed coaching and influencing skills.

You will be joining a small and busy HR team who are committed to supporting the University to deliver its objectives. We are able and keen to offer flexible working options (which might include home working as well as on campus working).
