Apprentice Laboratory Technician

Salary: £20,675 on completion of apprenticeship

The School of Biological Sciences (SoBS) technical team is looking to recruit a team player to assist with support of the school infrastructure, equipment and facilities. The team is adaptable, proactive and hardworking and the ideal candidate should have a good range of skills that will complement the team work ethic.
The apprenticeship will consist of a combination of learning on the job alongside fellow team members, together with off the job training/study with our training provider Fareham College. On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will become a qualified Laboratory Technician and will have a full time permanent position at the University.

Year 1: £6.61p/h (60%)
Year 2: £7.71p/h (70%)
Upon completion of apprenticeship: £11.01p/h (100%) Level 2B, Spine Point 13, £20,675 per annum.
