The Department
The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, is the largest faculty at Monash University, and, home to the School of Clinical Sciences and the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food.
The Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food has expanded rapidly since its inauguration in 2009. Its course offerings including a three-year undergraduate program in Nutrition Science which is the first international course to be accredited by the Association for Nutrition and a Masters of Dietetics course, accredited by the Dietitians Association of Australia. The Department has a wide range of interests in nutrition, dietetics, and food research with expertise stretching across the lifespan from infants through to the elderly.
The Opportunity
The Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food is seeking an outstanding candidate to join the Department. The successful candidate will capitalise and build on existing research and educational strengths to develop a high-performing team of academic and professional staff contributing to the research strategy and output of the department, and also provide outstanding educational opportunities to our students.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in individual research excellence and evidence of leadership through building and developing capability in an academic or research environment. You will have a PhD and be recognised as a leader in a discipline relevant to Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to encouraging a diverse and inclusive environment in which staff and students have the opportunity to flourish.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
