About the Role 

You will have a passion for project management and a PhD (or equivalent degree/professional qualifications and experience) in a related field, with an emerging or established track record of high-quality research publications.  Your research and teaching will reflect a deep commitment to the field of project management in engaging with, and shaping the next generation of students and professionals. As a Lecturer your focus will be on engaging with high-quality research and delivering innovative project management teaching. As a Teaching Fellow you will have the opportunity to help guide the project management teaching and learning agenda, and deliver highly innovative project management teaching with a range of undergraduate/postgraduate students, and future project professionals. In any position, we are looking individuals whose engagement with project management reflects depth as well as breadth in both traditional and state-of-the-art trends in project management.

The successful candidate will be part of the Operations Projects Purchasing & Supply (OPPS) group, which is within DAR.  OPPS strength is its focus on strategic issues and tends to be more qualitative in nature  - although we also welcome candidates with expertise and capability in quantitative areas. This is an ideal post for someone who is looking forward to joining a vibrant and dynamic group with the opportunity to apply their knowledge, skills, and innovative teaching in project management.
