Nurse/Front Office Coordinator
About the position
Bond University provides Medical, Psychological and Disability Services to support enrolled students and current staff members. The position of Nurse/ Front Office Coordinator is responsible for providing health assessment and treatment; responding to requests for emergency first aid and health counselling and to provide advice to senior officers regarding medical emergencies/incidents on campus as well as assisting the doctor/s with relevant care and ongoing treatment.
In conjunction with the Director, Student Success & Wellbeing, this position also has day to day oversight of the front office staff; ensuring that Reception is staffed at all times, that staff have an appropriate focus on client service and that adequate resources are available to support Medical, Psychological and Disability Services staff.
This position can be offered as a full time or part time/job share arrangement.
About the person:
The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with a minimum of two years clinical nursing experience. Casualty/ first aid experience and experience in handling crises situations is required.
You will possess excellent communication skills, advanced computer literacy and have a commitment to providing exceptional client service and support. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to work as part of a cohesive team is essential.
Experience working in a tertiary education environment or within a large organisation will be an advantage as will experience designing health promotion activities/ initiatives

Remuneration for this appointment will commence at $81,910 plus 10% superannuation per annum.
