Part-Time (0.5 FTE), Fixed-Term (10 months)

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Modern European History with a specialism in Modern Russian History to teach in the History Department from 1^st September 2021. This 10-month post is to cover the teaching of the newly-appointed Head of Department Dr Daniel Beer.    

The successful candidate will have research and/or teaching expertise in History at undergraduate level, as well as the ability to teach flexibly across a range of modules, in particular “Russia in the Age of Reform and Revolution” and “Conflict and Identity in Modern Europe.”

The successful candidate will have a PhD and a developing publication record in a relevant area. You will have experience of teaching at UG level and the ability to develop teaching materials and engage creatively with students.  

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
