An exciting opportunity has arisen for two, full-time, permanent HR Administrators dealing with casual workers to the University.
You will be part of the HR Operations Team, to provide a professional and responsive temporary recruitment service to University managers and workers. The job title on appointment will be UniWorkforce Administrator.
This role is a great opportunity for individuals who are interested in embarking on a career in HR and there are often opportunities to progress for those who want to develop within HR.
You will provide high quality, timely and customer-focused administrative support, this role is essential for the team to deliver an efficient and effective service to the University.
Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 13th July and Wednesday 14th July.
- Set up and maintain HR records, inputting data accurately and maintaining Data Protection compliance
- Respond to enquiries, either face to face, by email or telephone
- Undertake employment right to work checks, ensuring compliance with UKVI legislation
- Receive and process candidate registration forms issuing casual worker permits and updating records accordingly
- General HR Administration
- Use various HR and candidate management systems to carry out role
- Use Microsoft Office software

You will be naturally well-organised, enjoy working as part of a busy and varied team and have good attention to detail. Although previous administration experience is an advantage, we are looking for motivated individuals who are keen and willing to learn new skills and systems.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be experienced in using Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge or awareness of relevant employment legislation such as data protection and employment right to work legislation would be an advantage.
