Job Description

The job aims at

1. applying and creating different machine learning and deep learning methods to help accelerate the discovery process for various functional materials including gold nanoclusters, strain sensors, and organic photosensitizers and gain chemical insights at the same time.
2. using machine learning algorithms to analyse and optimize the batch process of pharmaceutical manufacturing. In addition, deep data analysis should be applied to get new pharmaceutical knowledge.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have PhD degree with strong background in machine learning and chemical engineering. Relevant experience in AI in material discovery is preferred. In addition, strong data analysis and report writing skills are required.
• Candidates who are in the final stages of PhD studies (i.e completed thesis, pending oral defence) may also be considered.
