The School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) has an exciting opportunity to become part of a team at UNSW Canberra creating a new Bachelor of Engineering Naval Architecture degree to ensure Australia’s future naval shipbuilding needs are being met. The purpose of the role is to contribute to course and program delivery, development and innovation, in a relevant sub-discipline such as ship hydrodynamics, ship structures, or naval ship design, in a team-teaching environment. It will also increase and expand the research and knowledge exchange profiles of SEIT to complement SEIT’s existing strengths.
The successful applicant will become a part of a community of people seeking to enhance research, teaching and engagement within the School, University and Globally. They may develop a research focused, education focused, or balanced workload.

About the Role:
Role: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Naval Architecture
Salary: Academic Level B - $109,365 - $128,926 plus 17% Superannuation
Academic Level C – $ 132,834 - $152,397 plus 17% Superannuation
Term: Full Time, up to 5 years
