Job Description

The successful candidate will work in the UAEU Department of Geography and Urban Sustainability– under the supervision of the Principal Investigator Dr. Marwan Elmubarak. He/She should have a strong background in spatial analysis with experience and interest in remote sensing and GIS. The work procedures include: collecting and analyzing of data using surveys; categorizing and establishing relationships among a variety of indicators, and conducting site surveys; The RA appointment is for 6 months subject to renewal.

Minimum Qualification

B.A. or B.Sc. in an urban design or urban studies field; strong language and presentation skills; basic statistical analysis; strong organizational skills; and willingness to adapt to continuous changes associated with research demands.

Preferred Qualification

M.A. or M.Sc. in Urban Design or spatial analysis field; intermediate knowledge of SPSS
