This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic educational development of academic technology in the Warwick Mathematics Institute and Department of Statistics.

The postholder will take responsibility for the future direction of how academic technology is utilised and embedded in practice. by designing and implementing initiatives and mechanisms for communication, training, and support.

They will work with a range of stakeholders including academic staff, administrative staff, and students. Leveraging current and emerging technologies they will enhance curriculum delivery, solving complex problems to meet disciplinary requirements. For instance, developing exemplars of best practice, evaluating current processes with a view to enhancements, develop robust, accurate and efficiency assessment processes, developing student self-efficacy in online learning to optimise their experience. The aim is to support and enable the departments to drive improvements in their education while also removing barriers, creating efficiencies, and reducing workloads.
