An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to work in the University of Southampton’s Sport and Wellbeing facilities at the Jubilee Sports Centre, which are open to its students, staff and members of the wider community. An extensive range of sports facilities are available to our customers from 07:00 to 22:00 every day of the week. We are looking for sports professionals to provide a consistently high-quality sports and leisure service in GP referral and personal training to our customers all year round. 

The post holder should be qualified to HNC/ A-Level/NVQ 3 or equivalent. Holding a GP referral and Level 3 personal trainer qualification is essential, as is being a Member of Register of Exercise Professionals Level 3 or equivalent. Relevant experience in the fitness and leisure industry is an advantage, along with the experience of delivering sessions to a diverse range of customers. These roles are full time posts working set hour working patterns. 

The successful candidates will be part of a highly motivated and organised Sport and Wellbeing team responsible for meeting agreed KPI’s and accredited standards and ensuring that our customers are advised or supported during their allocated sessions. You should have proven experience in handling a diverse range of situations in a customer focussed environment.
