Job Description

A full-time research assistant or associate to help the PI and the research fellow for a minimum of 2 years (renewable on up to three years if the funds are sufficient). The project will have labour-intensive components and involves extensive review, collection, and analysis of data. The research assistant/associate will focus on reviewing the literature, organising, and conducting data collection (e.g. journal articles, governmental reports, legal documents, company reports, media reports, and online mobile application privacy information), and performing data analysis. The research assistant/associate would help in setting up meetings and coordination and organisation efforts required by the project under the supervision of the PI and the research fellow. The research assistant/associate is expected to have a background in public policy or legal studies with experience in researching ICT and Platforms. Additional degrees in engineering or computer science and research experience in Asia is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Legal Studies or Public Policy.
• Research experience in ICT and Platforms.
• Research experience in Asia and/or technical background is a plus.
