Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 504209), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical and/or Computational Chemistry with strong background and evidenced expertise in electronic structure methods or other quantum chemistry areas.  Machine learning skills and experience are highly desired but not compulsory.  The appointee is expected to work both independently and collaboratively on theoretical and computational studies for electron and energy transfer processes between excited states in organometallic OLED systems.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Jun Yang at juny@hku.hk.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
