We are looking for an engaging and collaborative recruitment professional to support our recruitment and talent acquisition strategy across the University.  The post is offered initially on a two year fixed term contract.

The role

Providing professional advice and support on staff attraction and recruitment campaigns for specialist, hard to fill and senior appointments. You will act as the recruitment expert on employee resourcing strategies, including assessment and selection tools and provide specialist advice and support on the implementation of the University’s recruitment strategy.

Actively promoting equality and diversity at all levels and ensuring all recruitment activities are in line with the University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity strategy you will work closely with all HR stakeholders and hiring managers ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment service is delivered.

What we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be passionate about recruitment and the candidate experience, and have previous experience working in a similar role. With proven knowledge of talent acquisition best practice and emerging trends, you will have significant experience of delivering accurate and timely specialist recruitment advice and activities preferably in a large, complex organisation.  

You will have proven experience of senior stakeholder management along with a detailed understanding of a range of selection and assessment methods along with the ability to be hands-on and a strong team player who can work well across different teams.

Based at our lively Highfield campus, you will have access to our sports complex, Hartley Library and Staff Social Centre.  Initially you will be required to work from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
