Job Description

The United Arab Emirates University, Department of Nutrition and Health (DNH) seeks candidates for the position of Associate Professor in Human Nutrition. The successful applicant will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in human nutrition, develop leading research in the field of nutrition on national health priorities with global perspective, and contribute to university and community service. Candidates with a broad range of relevant scholarship and experience in nutrition are encouraged to apply. The Department encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds, including Emiratis and those from other nationalities.

Minimum Qualification

A doctoral degree in human nutrition or related area from internationally recognized, accredited university.

Preferred Qualification

As above.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience

At least 2 years in the rank of Associate Professor that was obtained by academic promotion process rather than appointment. Evidence of excellence in research publications, successful research grants as well as diverse teaching experience, and participation in university and community service.
