Research Fellow, Experiment
The HEAT (High Efficient and Active Thermal-engineering) Laboratory led by Prof. Sunmi Shin at NUS aims to understand heat-involving energy transport and to design energy conversion and management system in different length scales. Our team pursues a multidisciplinary approach for efficient and active energy technologies across mechanical and electrical engineering and materials science.
The HEAT Lab is currently seeking a postdoc to develop high performance cooling devices.
Researchers interested in the general themes of thermal engineering, sustainable energy conversion, nanomaterials, and novel characterization techniques are also encouraged to apply. We welcome researchers with a strong background in one of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, chemical and materials engineering, physics and chemistry. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and contact Asst Prof. Sunmi Shin (firstname.lastname@example.org).
PhD degree holders with experience in thermoelectric materials/devices fabrication, thermal property measurement and 3d printing are highly desirable.
