Research Fellow/ Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate (Health Technology Assessment) for Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health

The Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research Centre (HIPER) (https://sph.nus.edu.sg/research/hiper/) at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH), National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking one full-time Research/Post-doctoral Fellow (RF) or Research Associate (RA) with relevant experience to support health technology assessment (HTA) in Singapore. Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12-month contract, renewable subject to performance and funding availability.

The RF/RA will play a critical role in the development of the Center’s growing research agenda to support health policy and services research in Singapore and the region. The successful candidate will be expected to independently conduct HTA, submit research grant proposals, perform research administration and disseminate research findings. The RF/RA will also be involved in capacity building through conducting workshops for local and regional participants as well as mentoring junior research staff.

Qualifications

  • Possess a PhD (for RF) or Master’s degree (for RA) in a related field such as Biostatistics/ Engineering/ Economics/ Pharmacy/ Public Health
  • Experience in economic modelling with Markov cohort model/ discrete event simulation/dynamic transmission modelling is essential
  • First author publication(s) in highly reputable international journal(s).

The grade of appointment will be accorded based on candidate’s academic qualifications and years of relevant experience.
