Research Fellow, Mathematics
The successful candidate will work with Prof Gan Wee Teck on representation theory and harmonic analysis of nonlinear covering groups under a project on the Langlands program for Brylinski-Deligne extensions.
The main responsibilities of the position include
(i) Study of Whittaker models for nonlinear covering group
(ii) Study of Hecke algebras for nonlinear covering groups
(iii) Construction and study of automorphic forms of nonlinear covering groups, such as functorial transfer to linear groups and Fourier coefficients.
- Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Mathematics
- Skills: Expertise in nonlinear covering groups, automorphic forms and the Langlands program
- Experience: 2-year postdoc experience on the Langlands program
