Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology Limited

Applications are invited for appointment as Postdoctoral Fellow (Ref.: PDF-2021-002) in the Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology (the Laboratory) located at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP), to commence as soon as possible, on a 1-year contract basis with the possibility of renewal. Established as a research unit in HKSTP, the Laboratory integrates chemical science and biomedical science for the development of new molecular medicines and diagnostic tools for the treatment and analysis of human diseases with a focus on cancer.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or a related discipline. They should have a good research publication record. Research experiences in chemical synthesis are desirable. Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will conduct research projects on synthetic chemistry and drug discovery in a multidisciplinary team of chemists and biologists.
