Job Description

Successful shortlisted candidate shall work on the aim of developing an energy efficient process for clay sintering. The physical and mineralogical properties of clay before and after sintering will be investigated via laboratory tests. A laboratory scale model for such process will be established. Furthermore, a mid-size industrial scale prototype of the whole process will also have to be developed to assess the energy usage. The candidate must be able to conduct independent research testing, as well as working with external industrial parties. 

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Engineering or other relevant areas. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Able to work independently. 
• Able to write research report well.
