About the role

Contribute to delivery of excellence in teaching and learning across Vocational Education and Training (VET) teacher-education courses.

Depending on the level of appointment you will:

Level A

  • undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
  • develop, teach and moderate courses in VET; and
  • undertake research activities.

Level B

  • undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
  • develop, teach, coordinate and moderate courses in VET;
  • undertake research activities; and
  • supervise students undertaking project courses, honours programs and research by higher degree students.

About you

Depending on the level of appointment to be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:

Level A

  • lecturing and tutoring experience in the area of VET;
  • a capacity to teach courses in VET;
  • a preparedness to undertake research and a capacity to develop an active research profile; and
  • evidence of an ability to work collegially.

Level B

  • commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement;
  • commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching, and a good teaching record;
  • previous experience in academic administration;
  • evidence of research expertise and a demonstrated capacity and preparedness to achieve an active research profile; and
  • evidence of an ability to work collegially.
