The Faculty of Sport, Allied Health and Performance Science has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our team as part of an EU Horizon funded research project.
The Research Assistant will work on the EU Horizon funded UnCoVer project, which is a world-wide and multi-institution collaboration. The Research Assistant will work closely with and report to the Principal Investigator, Dr Silvia Riva. Working with the UnCoVer project’s research team, the Research Assistant will be required to assist with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data related to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to help the research team achieve its agreed goals and objectives.
This fixed-term position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in research and gain hands-on research experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. A degree in Psychology or a related field is advantageous, as is knowledge of regulatory and ethical research processes. The successful candidate is expected to be proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes, have good project management skills, and show a keen eye for detail. The ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form is also important.
