The Centre for Electronic Warfare, Information and Cyber welcomes applications from Lecturer’s in Information Systems.
The Centre is Cranfield’s focal point for research, education and consultancy into electronic attack, electronic protection and electronic warfare support, information and all aspects of cyber and cyber systems. Our capabilities are widely respected within the defence and security sector, serving an extensive range of students, clients and organisations.
About the Role
You will be responsible for research and teaching in the area of Information Systems. You will have a significant impact on the shape and future direction of our high-quality teaching, research and consultancy at postgraduate level. Research findings will be presented in high quality publications and conference proceedings.
You will develop research proposals and funding bids, and win support for them. You will supervise PhD and MSc research including acting as internal and external examiners.
About You
You will have a PhD (or close to completion) in an appropriate field and have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a research or academic environment. With an understanding of the interactions between innovation, technology, work and organisations and also the professional issues faced by those working with information systems,
