Our commitment to addressing UN SDGs allows us to target potential impacts such as addressing climate change and cultural heritage, renewable energy technologies, sensors for better mitigation efforts in infrastructure and monitoring, water purification.
Our Engineering courses are designed to align to industry needs and their delivery is supported by excellent on-campus facilities. Our degrees are professionally recognised and carry the opportunity to undertake practical, work-based activity. These programmes sit within a School which includes Computing and Physical Sciences programmes offering access to high quality computing and state-of-the-art software systems as well as tried and tested in-demand technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious applicant to lead the development of our research and enterprise activities in the area of Renewable Energy and Sustainability. With an outstanding and substantial record of accomplishment of published research outputs, aligned with significant successful external funding to support this research, the applicant will establish high value research and commercial activities leading areas and demonstrate willingness to engage with our key internal and external stakeholders. A key outcome area will be to mentor and contribute to the development of early career researchers to create a critical mass of research excellence.
