Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 503907), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Structural Biology or Biochemistry.  Those with backgrounds in structural biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology are also welcome to apply.  The appointee will conduct a collaborative research investigating the structure and function of DNA replication complexes in both yeast and human systems using interdisciplinary approaches.  He/She will have training opportunities in cryo-Electron Microscopy (cryo-EM) for high-resolution structure determination.  More information about the research can be found in the publications at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=Yuanliang+Zhai or explore the website https://zhai95.wixsite.com/mysite-1.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Yuanliang Zhai at zhai@hku.hk.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
