Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Public Health (Ref: 503859), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, or related disciplines, with a strong background in pharmacoepidemiology and artificial intelligence. They should have a good command of written and spoken English; good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; a strong sense of responsibility; the ability to acquire new statistical techniques through self-learning; and a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers. They should be able to multi-task and work independently, highly motivated, and attentive to details. Experience in analysing big data including omics data (e.g. genomics, proteomics, metabolomics) with data visualisation using R and/or Stata will be a significant advantage.

The appointee will contribute to research projects on a population-based cohort of older adults and studies of medication for global healthy aging promotion. He/She will coordinate projects, manage and analyse statistical data, write reports and manuscripts, and perform other duties as assigned.
