We are looking to appoint a Governance and Compliance Officer (fixed-term, for 12 months) to support continued efforts to foster a positive culture of good governance practice and information compliance across the University.

You will support staff across the institution, providing advice and guidance on a range of data protection and information compliance matters, as well as working alongside the University’s Data Protection Officer to identify opportunities for improvement in respect of the University’s compliance obligations, and mitigating risks associated with contravention of relevant data protection legislation. You will also have responsibility for providing a professional officering service to your own portfolio of senior University committees, guiding and supporting the University’s academic and executive decision and policy-making processes in this context.
