Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Simulated and Adaptive Learning in the Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) (Ref.: 503912), to commence as soon as possible for two years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in education/psychology (preferably in Educational Psychology) with publishing experience in advanced quantitative research design and analysis. They should have a minimum of three impact factor publications, including at least two as first author. They should also have strong research, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; the ability to work independently and responsibly, both as a leader and as part of a team; and an excellent command of written English. Interest and experience in researching educational technology and higher education teaching and learning will be a distinct advantage.
The appointee will be engaged in collaborative research which will entail partial coordination of projects relating to online simulation educational initiatives and a developing programme of adaptive learning. He/She will assist in proofreading, report and journal writing, literature reviews, surveys and test development/administration; and perform other duties as required.
