Research Fellow, Biological Sciences
The successful candidate will work with Dr Luo Min, utilizing biochemistry and cryo-EM to study the structure and function of membrane protein complexes that play essential role in mitochondria function.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Performing research independently.
- Mentoring graduate/undergraduate students.
Newly graduated PhD students (< 1 year), with shown strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, membrane protein and structural biology including cryo-EM.
Shown strong skills in cloning, insect or mammalian cell culture, membrane protein purification, cryo-EM data collection and process, model building.
Strong publication track record in structural biology, have at least one first-author paper published or sent out for review in journal with impact factor larger than 10.
