About the role

The Faculty of Science and Engineering delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the areas of Engineering, Science, Environmental and Earth Systems,Marine Systems, Forest Systems, Regenerative Agriculture, Mathematics and Information Technology. The Faculty is committed to the delivery of high-quality courses that combine academic rigour with relevance to employment opportunities for graduates.

Multiple, continuing Lecturer level appointments are being offered to grow our dynamic academic team providing innovative undergraduate and postgraduate teaching into the engineering programs.

Successful applicants will actively contribute to the Faculty through student centred teaching practice and development, and contribute to the research and/or scholarship of teaching profile of the Faculty through their publications.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $138,092 per annum (inclusive of base salary $99,649-$118,027 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation).Generous relocation support is also available to successful candidates relocating to the Lismore region.

About you

You will be a highly-engaged, innovative and inspiring academic, committed to reflective teaching practice, enhancing the student learning experience and graduate outcomes. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be dedicated to working collegially and effectively across a multi-disciplinary team. Your strong links within the discipline will enable the effective collaboration with internal and external colleagues on research activities. You will have a publication track record, reflective to opportunity, with a research profile that aligns with the Faculty’s.

To be successful in this role you will utilise your academic experience to develop innovative quality learning materials for delivery of engineering units and programs.
